How it works

Three steps, no tutorial

Buying a domain should take a few minutes, not an afternoon of reading support articles.

  1. Step 1

    Search once, see both prices

Type a name and we check it across every extension we carry. Each result shows what the first year costs and what it renews at, so the second year is never a surprise.

    • 695 extensions, from .com to .africa
    • First-year and renewal price on every result
    See all prices
  2. Step 2

    Pay in naira, your way

Pay by card, bank transfer or USSD through Flutterwave — no dollar card, no foreign-currency charge on your statement. VAT is its own line, shown before you pay.

    • Card, bank transfer or USSD
    • Your price is held for 30 minutes once it is in your cart

  3. Step 3

    Point it at your host

Pick your host from the list and we fill in the nameservers, or paste the ones your host gave you. Then we show what public resolvers see, so you know the change has landed.

    • Ready-made for Cloudflare, Hostinger, Netlify, Truehost Nigeria and Vercel
    • Transfer lock on from the start

Why choose MyDomainsHub?

International registrars price in dollars and decline local cards. Local resellers bury the renewal price. We do neither.

  • The renewal price, upfront

What a domain renews at sits next to what it costs today — in search results, in your cart and at checkout. The second year is never a surprise.

  • Naira at a published rate

Registries bill in US dollars. We convert at one rate — ₦1,331 to the dollar today — and publish it on our pricing page.

  • Contact privacy at no charge

Where the extension allows it, your name, address and phone number stay out of the public registration record, at no extra cost.

  • Your domain stays yours

Transfer lock on by default, two-factor authentication for sensitive changes, and your transfer code within five days of asking — never held over a bill.

Send email from your domain

MyDomainsHub Mail sends your app’s transactional email — receipts, sign-in links and alerts — from a domain you own, whether you registered it here or not.

  • Receipts, sign-in links and alerts

Sent from your own domain, with its DKIM, SPF and DMARC records checked for you.

  • By API or SMTP

One HTTP call from your code, or the SMTP settings of the app you already have.

  • Priced in naira

Start on the Free plan, with no card needed; paid plans are billed in naira.

Questions people actually ask

No. You can register a domain and point it somewhere later. Until you do, it simply won't resolve to a website — we'll show you exactly how to fix that whenever you're ready.

Yes, any of them. Pick your provider from our list and we fill in the nameservers for you, or paste the two your host gave you. We then check that the change actually took effect.

Some registries sell the first year cheaply to attract registrations, then charge full price afterwards. We always show both numbers so the second year is never a surprise.

Most extensions give you a grace period after expiry — often 30 days — when you can still renew at the normal price. After that the domain enters redemption, where it can be recovered only by paying the registry’s restore fee as well. We email you about a month and about a week before a domain expires, your account shows every domain’s expiry date, and you can renew any domain there before that date at the renewal price shown.

Yes. It must be at least 60 days old, unlocked at your current registrar, and you need its authorisation code. Our transfer checker looks it up and tells you what, if anything, is in the way — then you enter the code, we check it with the registry, and you pay. Transfers usually take up to five days.

Always. We release your authorisation code within five days of you asking, and we never withhold it over an unpaid invoice. A domain you bought is yours.
